About me

I am a geophysicist by profession, an explorer by conviction. I grew up in an environment surrounded by mountains and volcanoes, and early on, I started a rock collection from every place I set foot. My love for nature and my scientific curiosity to understand it led me to study geophysical engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

My professional career has primarily focused on the exploration of geothermal and water resources, as well as tectonic boundaries, using electromagnetic methods.

I love going out into the field; being there and observing nature was the starting point of this professional journey. I’ve been very fortunate to gain experience in fieldwork and at sea with three different campaigns.

I truly enjoy collaborating with colleagues from around the world and working on projects that bring prosperity to communities and support renewable energy sources.
